Exam Builder Question Limit Doubled and other improvements

Major Improvements made in Exam Builder.

1. Question generation limit updated from 15 to 30 for MANUAL and AUTO Paper Generation.



This has been our most requested change, with 70% of users asking for it. While we initially capped the limit at 15 due to server constraints, we’ve now increased it to 30 questions. At the same time, we’re working on optimizing our backend to improve generation speed.
 

2. Added toggle for avoiding previously generated questions.



The toggle will be enabled by default. When active, the system ensures that generated questions are unique and not repeated from previous generations.
 

3. Question Numbers have been added to generated Question Papers and Marking Schemes.





Suggested by one of our users. Now you can now check the answers more easily, without the hassle of switching back and forth between question papers
 

4. Question Difficulty Rating have been moved to the marking scheme



One of our users suggested solving the question first, without seeing whether it’s easy or tricky. We believe this is a great approach, as it allows users to focus on solving the problem without second-guessing themselves based on the difficulty rating.
 

Minor Changes

• Direct downloading of QP and MS files instead of zip files.

• Each generated file will follow a unique logical naming convention that includes metadata such as Board Name, Subject Name, and Paper Name.
